    Job Overview

    The primary responsibility of the Mechanical Engineer is planning, scheduling and estimating design engineering effort on a small project or a portion of a larger project, from the completion of project design to the issuing of all drawings and specifications.

    • Regulates expenditures on projects
    • Prepares and updates engineering control documents
    • Monitors design changes and contract extras
    • Reviews, analyzes and resolves field construction problems/discrepancies
    • Prepares interpretation of plans, detail sheets, and specifications for contractors or craft supervision
    • Prepares simple plans, designs, calculations, schedules, costs and bills of material, field inspections and/or site coordination in accordance with established codes, and company standards
    • Other duties as required.



    • Mechanical Engineering degree with 2-4 years’ experience or Tech diploma with 2-6 years related experience
    • Proficient with Microsoft Suite
    • Strong ability to read and interpret both drawings and specifications
    • Strong technical writing and communication
    • Proficient with Document Control system
    • Basic knowledge of Project Controls Program
    • Basic knowledge of Quality Program
    • Attention to detail.
